Jeffrey L. Butts, D.O. Dr. Jeffrey L. Butts, is a fellow of the American Board of Addiction Medicine and is a diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (double board certified addictionologist). He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas in Austin and medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth.
In 2011 he opened Celebrity Care Medical Clinic in Boerne, Texas, an outpatient addiction practice that treats individuals in recovery from a substance use disorder. Celebrity Care offers personalized and confidential treatment of unhealthy lifestyles in an affordable program under the care of Suboxone licensed physician for stabilizing opioid dependency. Medications prescribed for alcohol use disorder include Vivitrol, Campral, and Antabuse. Co-occurring mood disorders and pain in individuals prone to addiction are also addressed.
He established Addiction Medicine Consultants of Texas (AMCOT), PLLC in 2013. AMCOT provides addiction medicine consults, medical directorships, in-patient treatment, and aftercare to the broader treatment community. AMCOT is gearing up to meet a new challenge for 2018 – to expand availability and provision of evidence based addiction treatment (medication-assisted therapy) in underserved markets through the use of telemedicine technology. Dr. Butts is teaming up with other addiction professionals including psychiatrists, mid-level providers, and counselors to provide addiction consults anytime, anyplace, anywhere!
Roberto D’Lorm, D.N.P., AGNP-C, CARN-AP , Dr. D’Lorm received his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSCSA), San Antonio, Texas in 2013 (Project: Organizational Intervention To Decrease Patient Wait Times and Improve Workflow Efficiency in an Outpatient Addiction Clinic, 08/12/2013). He was recipient of the Methodist Ministries D.N.P. Scholarship. In 2012 he completed his Post-Masters Certificate in Adult Health at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). In 2010 he completed medical clinical rotation in addictions medicine as a medical student (pending USMLE exams). In 2007, he received his Master’s degree as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner from University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) where he was recipient of the Mary Beth Lott Upchurch Award – Outstanding Student Award. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Austin, Texas in 1999. Dr. D’Lorm was originally introduced to work with patients that carried diagnoses of addiction since 2000 while working at the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit in St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas. Since 2009 he has provided direct care to patients with addictions including inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. D’Lorm is board certified in Adult Health, Gerontology and in Addictions. He actively participates in keeping updated in the latest evidence based literature and serves as a preceptor for graduate students.
